Reiki Seichem

 

What is Reiki Seichem?

Reiki Seichem is a spiritual healing art originating in Egypt.  The word Seichem means ‘might’.  It is carried out in the same way as Reiki.  Reiki Seichem works on balancing a person mentally and emotionally as well as physical ailments.  It is a hands-on healing which is done using the universal energy, usually locating the cause of the symptom.  Practitioners work on the 7 main chakras that are situated on the head, the brow, the throat, the heart, the solar plexus, the sacral and the root. Reiki is not related to any religion, therefore it will not interfere with your religious beliefs. 

 

How is Reiki Seichem given?

The Reiki practitioner will ask you to lie on the couch (fully clothed), close your eyes and relax.  The hand positions are held for a few minutes at each chakra, enabling the energy to flow freely to work on the imbalance within that chakra. The sensations you will receive are varied. Some feel heat from the practitioner's hands; some feel cold; some, tingling. Some have seen colours. Some have had an emotional release. These are all quite natural.  The overall feeling is of relaxation and peace. 

 

What are the benefits of Reiki Seichem?

•             Relieves mental strain, stress and aids concentration;

•             Releases emotional blocks;

•             Re-balances organs and glands and their bodily functions;

•             Reiki Seichem is designed to reduce stress and aid relaxation

 

•             To ensure maximum benefit, go home and relax

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so you can begin to relax

 

•             Drink plenty of water

•             Try to avoid eating a heavy meal 2 hours before

 

•             Avoid caffeine or alcohol and cut down on smoking

•             Ensure your telephone is on silent before entering the treatment room

 

•             Avoid strenuous activities following your treatment

 

Are there any side-effects from Reiki Seichem?

Following Reiki, you may experience a number of symptoms or side effects. These differ from person to person and are all positive signs of the body bringing itself back into balance.

These may include:

•             Deep sleep OR difficulty sleeping (including vivid dreams);

•             Light headedness;

•             Feeling emotional;

•             Increased visits to the toilet and/or perspiration – the body excreting waste;

 

Remember – these reactions are positive signs of the body bringing itself back into balance.

 

They are temporary and should subside within 24-48 hours.
